Kasey Rissman, LPCCA #12502

Kasey Rissman is a LPCCA (PCC# 12502) at Desert Marriage and Family Counseling. She grew up in Palm Desert and returned after attending San Diego State University. She completed her master’s program in Rehabilitation Counseling and became a Yoga Instructor, developing ways to combine breath work, medication and mindfulness into her counseling practice. Passionate about mental health, students with disabilities, Eating Disorders and Substance Abuse in our country, she knew that Desert Marriage and Family Counseling was a natural fit.

Kasey is well diverse in a multiple of therapy techniques that she implements while building a supportive rapport with her clients. In her free time, Kasey enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family and two dogs. She has experience working at a substance abuse and mental health facility and with the California State Department of Rehabilitation. Grateful for an amazing group of therapist and supervisors from her past and present, she is looking forward to the future to complete her trainee hours and become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
